Is the BEST app to learn Japanese ! I learn it in a few of 2 month ! Is very simple to learn Japanese with that ! I recommend that for everyone who want to learn Japanese :D And is NOT AND NOT at all expensive ! The app just cost 4.99 and include a dictionnairy, a Kana Table and we cant practice writing Kanji ! 現在、私は日本語おわかります。 ありがとおございます！

It has good tutorials. Its perfect for people who would like to be nice to other people.

Hands down the best tutorials. They are fun and informative. I have the Japanese and Spanish... Both excellent

The lessons are short and perfect for my attention span

I have tried so many programs to learn Japanese, I had a bunch of vocabulary but I could never make a sentence, this helped me so so so much!!

It feels like a real class and everything is so easy to understand. :) Everything is so clearly explained you dont get confused or unsure about what your trying to do. :3 The classes are short so you dont feel like your getting too much information at once. :D If you are looking to start learning Japanese or just brush up in what you know this app is right for you. ^-^

This app is very greatly constructed it is progressive and intuitive, it needs the iOS 6 update though

I like this app and using it almost every day. A few comments that I have: - It would be great to have flash cards for katakana and hiragana same as in lessons in addition to (or instead of) Kana Chart. I think it is not natural to learn for the same sound katakana and hiragana separately as it is set up in Kana Chart now, so that you have to flip between charts. - When you add a word to Your Vocabulary there is one unnecessary conformational popup Added Successfully, requiring you to make one extra click. I would delete it.

I used this app to get the ball rolling on learning Japanese it did the trick for language basics. Since then I use it from time to time to practice writing and this is the second broken update in a couple months its stuck on install again! Fix this overpriced broken app now!

I got the app for the full price but I took it off my phone I came to get it today and now I have to pay again :(

This app is amazing. I used to think that I couldnt learn Japanese without a real teacher, but this has proven me wrong. Its the number one Japanese app on the App Store by far. 5 stars. Will be subscribing after Im finished the free lessons!

First of all it IS the best Japanese app out of the dozens Ive tried. My only concern is that I paid for a six months subscription because Mirai promised to post a new chapter every month, and at first they did. That was a year ago. Since then, nothing. No new lessons and radio silence. So my advice is, start with a one-month subscription, zip-line through the quizzes since theyre mandatory for downloading the next chapter and so on (youll come back later to study them in depth), and wait for Mirai to keep their end of the bargain. Once you commit, you cannot cancel mid-subscription if they dont. This is the only reason I dont give it five stars.

Im going to Japan in October with my mom, dad and two sisters. I finished chapter three and I am glad to say that I am not afraid to go to Japan anymore!! すごい！（＾ω＾）

For me, this app is without a doubt the best Japanese app available! It is properly explained and it goes into detail at the Japanese rules, teaches properly. This way you learn the right Japanese. One thing that I dont like is its subscription method. You need to pay monthly fees (or yearly) if you want to continue your studies. I dont mind paying for the other courses but this payment method makes me feel like Im signing some kind of contract. If I pay for something, then, I want to know that I know the item afterwards. What should had been down is to ask users to pay for each different level or pay for the whole package right away at a higher price. I dont want to subscribe, I want to gain access to what is already available with a one, direct payment. And if Im hungry for more, I will be back. More freedom of payments please!!

An easy way to learn Japanese! Pronunciation are good, vocabulary is practical.

... Updates stopped a year and a half ago. The content is good quality and very approachable. Its unfortunate the content makers abandoned this app as it was a well designed way to learn. So keep in mind: while it is a good app, the abrupt ending to the lessons makes it incomplete. Would be lovely for the developers to chime in at some point.

This app makes learning Japanese seem easy - everything is explained clearly in English and it is great to have a native Japanese person for the pronunciations. The writing section is really good - the animated diagrams are very useful and clear. It is so helpful to have both sound and text for learning, and this app integrates them superbly. I really recommend this app!
